Removing shortcut virus in usb flash drive using Command Prompt
This video will help you to remove Shortcut creating virus from your Pen drive, memory card or any flash disk using command prompt (CMD) in windows 7.
Note: don't try to access the files in flash drive clicking the shortcuts, it will cause the virus to affect your computer also.
It is simple, can be done with two line of codes
1) Just find the Letter of your Flash Drive and type in in the CMD
2) Paste the below code into the command window.
attrib -s -h /s /d .
3) Press a gentle enter!. Done.
Now open my computer and open the thumb drive you can see the shortcuts are removed and your files are recovered, and one more thing is there that your thumb drive will also have both virus files and folders along with your original files, so be careful when you copy your files.
After making a backup of your original files, format the flash disk so that you will get the virus files removed.
