The lineup for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is now official, featuring Uganda after their historic victory against Rwanda in the T20 World Cup Africa qualifier. Notably, this edition breaks new ground with 20 teams participating in the tournament scheduled for June 2024 in the USA and West Indies. The teams will initially be divided into four groups of five, with the top two from each group advancing to the Super Eight phase. Subsequently, the remaining teams will compete in two groups of four, leading to semi-finals and the ultimate final. The diverse array includes cricketing powerhouses such as Afghanistan, India, Australia, among others.
