The popups are generally invoked on the website when you click on the link or make any interaction. The main motive behind popup is to display the dialog box without any extension or navigation bar.
But, it's misused in some cases with ads and redirections scripts. Hence, it's always good to keep these pop-ups and redirects to blocked mode.
If you really trust a website like banking sites, etc. then you may grant permission to that specific site.
Here are the steps to disable pop-up blockers in Chrome Android:
1. Launch the Chrome browser app on Android phones.
2. Tap on 3 dots menu for more options.
3. Select Settings from the list of options.
4. Scroll down and Tap on the Site Settings option.
5. Within Site Settings open Pop-ups and Redirects.
6. The Pop-ups and redirect is default set to Blocked.
7. Toggle the button and set it to ON.
This will disable the pop-up blockers and redirects on your Chrome for Android. This option is NOT recommended as you may end up with lots of unwanted pop-up ads, and may also redirect to phishing sites.
