As I am building a SAAS business - I realized while the web-application itself is a clear science; one big variable of a new startup is the complexity of people. Particularly the founder in a new startup, since they may be the only person in the org to start. Humans are complicated algorithmic machines and are harder to manage and predict than developing an empirically functioning REST API. Therefore a framework to understand the self and human psychology in the context of software development is an important part of reliably building a software company. Over the past few months of Starmorph's growth, I have realized as a solo-founder, I am am the biggest bottleneck to Starmorph's potential, and therefore in order to better serve Starmorph and its clients, subscribers, and viewers, I need to understand and optimize myself.
This Figma design session is a casual experimental exploration of how human psychology could be (partially) empirically mapped in function through the analogy of the mind as a computational model. Machine Learning is progressing our understanding of the parallels between humans and computing machines, and so I thought it would be fun to explore human psychology through a computing analogy.
Experimenting: Trying something new in this video, music, new editing, Figma session, psychology/ personal habits behind building software.

I know everyone wants more Langchain javascript tutorials about context augmented retrieval, embeddings, and how to query your documents from scratch on a bot -- those videos are coming I promise!! Thank you for your patience. There are some big recent strides that just recently happened in Javascript Langchain web-apps so the time is soon. I also have been catching up with client work and the growth of Starmorph but am excited to ramp up my youtube video creation again soon.
