Use Keqing as your Main Damage Dealer
I recommend using Keqing as your Main DPS as her Normal and Charged attacks are stronger in the Melee Trial. Keqing is also useful in destroying the Fatui Skirmisher Hydro-gunner Legionnaire Shields.
Destroy Shields via Claymore and Elements
A lot of the enemies you will encounter in the Melee Trial will provide Shields. We recommend using characters like Xinyan and Noelle who can destroy Wooden and Geo shields by either using their claymores or using their Elements. We also recommend using Barbara, as she will be useful when dealing with the Pyro Abyss Mage.
