According to NewsOne, Pearl shared a post from Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Cotton's post included a 2019 NBC News article about Vice President Kamala Harris’s stance on privatizing health insurance, claiming she was "extreme" and aimed to remove Americans from employer-provided health plans. Cotton further criticized the idea of illegal migrants receiving government healthcare. Pearl's decision to amplify these views has sparked widespread criticism.
