1. Open the PDF in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat
2. Highlight the text you want to extract e.g. Invoice Number
3. Right mouse on the text and select "Properties..." and go to the "General Tab." enter "Invoice Number" in the Subject box and click "OK"
4. Repeat the above steps for the other text to extract e.g. Company name, Total Amount and Tax Amount
5. Download PDF Data Extractor from https://www.traction-software.co.uk/p...
6. Start up the software
7. Drag and drop a pdf file into the "Source file(s)" box
8. Click Analyze
9. Click Setup menu, Smart Highlighted Setup, then click OK
10. Change the output filename to e.g. c:\report.xlsx
11. Click the ‘Process’ button
