How to Change Your iPhone Alarm Sound in 2025

To change the sound of your alarms on iPhone, open the Clock app and tap Alarms at the bottom. Then tap an existing alarm you want to change the sound for, or tap the plus sign in the top right corner to create a new one. Tap Sound. Now you can pick any sound you want to use for your alarm. Tap a sound name to hear a preview of what it sounds like. If you’d like to have your alarm just appear on your screen but not make any sound, you can select None at the very bottom of the list. When you’ve selected the sound you want to use, tap Back. Adjust your alarm time if needed, then tap Save. Your new alarm with the sound you’ve chosen will then be saved and ready to use.
