Papua New Guinea landslide buries at least 2,000 people
Papua New Guinea estimates that 2,000 people were buried alive in last Friday's landslide as assessments of casualties have varied widely since the disaster.
The United Nations had estimated that 670 people were killed by the landslide in the South Pacific island nation's mountainous interior.
