Thousands of activists, indigenous groups, students and others took to the streets of New York City on September 17-18 in a march to end fossil fuels ahead of the United Nations Climate Ambition Summit, which brings world leaders to New York for the UN General Assembly. The protest on September 18 wound through the Financial District of Manhattan before ending at the federal Reserve Bank of New York building.
