"Sweet Dreams" by Alan Walker and Imanbek – FL Studio Remix Contest – TealMist Remix
Alan Walker and Imanbek made the original song, which has a fun, dancey-swing vibe. For the FL Studio remix contest, I decided to lean into that 90s-esque feel (I mean, it's built on a Scatman John reference, so...) and go that direction with a jazzy chord progression, a house piano, and some other synthy aspects that I also enjoy. It was fun to try out that sort of style again, as it has been a while since I've done so. I got started a little late on it (2-2.5 days ago 😬), but I was able to bang it out more quickly than I normally would, which was a fun challenge in itself! I hope everyone enjoys it!
