Evolution of alarm sounds in Windows, including betas. The name of the alarm sounds is retrieved from the Alarm (Windows 8.1)/Clock (Windows 10/11, formerly Alarm & Clock) app. Although Windows 8 didn't ship with an alarm app, third-party apps from the Microsoft Store (then called Windows Store) could make use of those sounds.
