Rail Grinder Starts FIRE, RAILFAN Puts it Out! All About the LORAM Grinder, D&H Northend
We take a look at one of the strangest trains ever, the LORAM rail grinder. I explain how the machine works and why it’s important as we chase it south along the Canadian Pacific mainline. Intense grinding action is observed at Ausable Beach and a small fire is started at Wickhams Marsh, a railfan quickly putting it out. We finish the chase at a new location in Port Kent along Lake Champlain.
