Fun and Bright Brighton Buses - Bendibuses, Coastal Buses and Brighton and Hove Buses. The Brighton and Hove buses bear the names of people. Since 1999 every bus entering this servcie has been given the name in the memory of a deceased person.

Maggie King who moved to Brighton in 1947 aged 16 to pursue her dream of becoming a Nurse. She became a nurse teacher and later, spurred on by her passion for helping people, a union member and ‘formidable force’ in the Brighton tenants’ movement.
