What's Going on with Venu and What Does it Mean for Streaming Live Sports?

Venu was purported to be the solution to streaming live sports by industry titans. It would have a majority of live sports, include some local channels, and cost a relatively affordable $42.99 a month.
Unfortunately for the drivers behind Venu, courts ruled it can’t move forward. Although the company is obviously appealing, there’s no guarantee it will win.
