Valkyrie Chronicles is a tactical jRPG that also mixes in real time action. Set in an alternate universe inspired by Europe during the early years of World War Two. Through each game, you'll follow the journey of the Galleon Militia as they defend their homeland of Gallia against invasions. The franchise is known for its signature blitz combat system, which allows players to move and act in real time within the turn based framework. You can strategically direct units and then drop down into a third person view and fight in the battle alongside them by attacking, taking cover, and using special abilities.
