As Beijing prepares to host the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) from September 4 to 6, hundreds of diplomats, scholars, and business people have gathered in China to work on expanding cooperation with Chinese partners. At the launch ceremony of the Report on China's Investment in Africa, hosted by the China-Africa Business Council, experts from Africa explained to CGTN's Li Jingjing why cooperation with China is important and how it differs from partnerships with other countries.
