Open Google/Gmail any other googles' apps
Tap the profile icon in the top right corner
Tap Google Account
Tap personal Info
Tap Go to About me At the bottom
Tap manage your profile picture at the bottom
Tap Remove Below the profile picture
Now Your profile picture is gone
