AirCare Hangar Dedication, 02.23.2023
Augusta University Health staff, Augusta Regional Airport leadership and other Augusta dignitaries and community leaders celebrated the dedication of AirCare’s new permanent home Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023. The new structure at Augusta Regional Airport not only provides a place to store the only hospital-owned helicopter in the area, it also provides comfortable living quarters for the crew who rotate 24-hour shifts. The building also houses teaching space to train flight nurses, work spaces and a conference room.
