How to: DaVinci Resolve 12.5 - Roundtrip Workflow
In this video we look at my workflow for handling clips through DaVinci Resolve if the ultimate aim is not to edit in DaVinci Resolve but to go out to another platform or send off to another editor.
We'll take a look at the overall process of setting up the project, bringing media into the media pool, optimising the media, editing into a timeline, trimming, colour grading and then delivery of the clips ready to go to the next editor.
It's not traditional Round tripping but it's a modern take on how to work with clips, especially RAW clips or ones that need to be graded first, prior to bringing them into your main editing application.
