Chase Dobson is a Denver-based musician and engineer. His new album 'The Mechanics of Time Travel’ is a hazy analog synth-driven journey that evokes nostalgia and a sense of wonder.
Accompanying the album is a full length visualizer set to gorgeous footage from cinematographer Alex Buksdorf. Comprised of all original footage from Vietnam to Vancouver, Norway to Arizona, to Joshua Tree and beyond, the scope of the imagery perfectly synchronizes with Dobson's soundscapes. Color graded to add a hint of surrealism by editor Matt Black, the combination of sights and sounds guide you through an immersive audio-visual experience.
