Is 8GB VRAM Enough in 2024?
It’s long been a topic of conversation: is 8GB enough for gaming in 2024? To find out we’ll be testing the RTX 3070 at 1440p in a range of modern titles. I’ve not tested 4K as I’m not convinced 8GB cards are suitable for 4K gaming, and if it works at 1440p, it’ll be good at 1080p also.
We’ll be testing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer and Warzone, Forza Horizon 5, Diablo 4, Halo Infinite, Starfield and Cyberpunk 2077.
