“KAMIKAKUSHI” - Japan’s Most MYSTERIOUS Unsolved MISSING PERSON CASES
A victim of “Kamikakushi” is said to have been abducted by some kind of supernatural being, ranging from well-intentioned deities to bird-like, mountain-dwelling demons like the Tengu. Kamikakushi is much more than mere superstition or fear of the supernatural, though: Above all else, it represents an elaborate coping mechanism for those who inexplicably lost someone they loved: After all, a person who was “spirited away” might not have met a tragic fate, but was perhaps simply taken on an exciting journey into another realm!
Now, whether you want to believe in the concept of Kamikakushi… and believe me, I am neither superstitious, nor am I a religious person by any means… There are some missing person cases that certainly seem to defy logic!
Today, I would like to examine three such cases, including the story of a 48-year-old Japanese housewife who mysteriously disappeared among a crowd of tourists at a shrine, the sudden vanishing of a 4-year-old boy that took occurred in mere seconds, and the enigmatic disappearance of an entire FAMILY and their dog, who left behind a home filled with more questions than answers. All three of these cases are considered to be unsolved, but we will get into some of the theories about what might actually have happened IN THIS VIDEO.
