Open Telegram Desktop app.
Go to the channel that you need. Click on the three dots at the top right corner of the window. Choose Manage channel from the list.
A new window will open. Click on Channel type. Check Private channel option. You will receive a permanent link. Copy link and share it with people so they can have access to the channel. Click on Save to apply the settings.
You can also set the channel back to public. Go to the channel that you need. Click on the three dots at the top right corner of the window. Choose Manage channel from the list.
A new window will open. Click on Channel type. Check Public channel option. Add the channel link. Click on Save.
