Sid Sriram ( @sidsrirammusic ) returns to the COLORS stage to share ‘Shivanar (சிவனார் மனங்குளிர) – A COLORS ENCORE’, a mesmerising Carnatic piece drawn from the Thiruppugazh, a revered collection of Tamil devotional hymns written by the saint-poet Arunagirinathar in the 15th century.
In Sid Sriram's stirring rendition, the ragas resonate with profound emotional depth, and his powerful vocals bring the song's intense mood to life. Sid’s soulful and evocative voice perfectly offers a contemporary twist on the Shivanar which speaks of the divine grace and empowering protection of Lord Shiva.
