With unprecedented economic inequality and massive overspending on military expansion, the US looks more like 476 CE Rome!
The S&P 500 closed down 3%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq composite dropped 3.4% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2.6%. It was the biggest daily drop for the S&P and Dow since September 2022. The rise in unemployment has rekindled worries a recession may be in the offing that would dash the Federal Reserve's hoped-for soft landing for the economy. Yet, our dysfunctional Government & corrupted Congress keep lying to the American people, let alone sending our Tax dollars abroad mainly to corrupted Ukraine and dysfunctional Israel.
Now we know why the US empire is crumbling before our eyes!
