DRDO Consultant Recruitment 2024: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is inviting applications from retired officials of Central Governments, State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and Autonomous Bodies who possess substantial experience in the operations of Central Government Ministries and Departments. These positions are for engagement as Consultants on a short-term contract basis. According to the official notification for DRDO Recruitment 2024, the appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of extension based on existing regulations. The maximum age limit for all categories of retired government employees applying is 63 years as of the application closing date.
Selected candidates who are non-pensioners will receive a salary of ₹50,000, while pensioners’ salaries will be calculated by deducting their basic pension from the pay received at the time of retirement.
