In this video, we will learn if statement, Vlookup, and Hlookup

So, let's start without wasting your time.

First formula is if statement, we use if statement to know the given statement is true or false. So let me show you how to check.

In the first table, we want to check the company is in profit or loss. For that turnover should be less than profit.

Press = to then type if, press tab, now the logic is turnover should be less than

profit, then press comma what we need if turnover is less then print profit else lose

Now the second formula is vlookup, which means vertical lookup. It helps us to retrieve the data from a specific column of the table.

So for example, if you want to know the rank of the amazon.

Press = then type vlookup

Now it is asking for lookup value, which is search value, select amazon press comma, now it is asking table array

Which means from where you want to search, So select the table

Then it is asking for a column number, which means from which column you need a data value. We need a rank which is in a second column from the selected data

So type 2 then press comma, Now it is asking for an exact match or approximate match. We need an exact match, So we will select an exact match Enter.

The last formula is H lookup, which is similar to V lookup, It works on horizontal data. Let me show you.

Press = then type Hlookup and press tab then it is asking for lookup value, which is search value, select the Maria then press comma.

Now it is asking for a value table array, which is the whole table data. Just select it then press comma. Now it is asking for a row index number. From which row you want the data.

So we need a class which is in the third row, So type 3 then press comma. Now it is asking for the approximate match or exact match. So we need an exact match so we will select the exact match
