I want to try something completely different. Here is code that, only on linux and I can't stress that enough, will cause most CDROM drives to physically open. I present this to you today in case you want something completely different so that your learning doesn't become stale as is all too easy to happen. I present this code with one question. How does it work? I promise that you will learn a lot from trying to find your way around it. In a week or so, after the async tutorial, we'll go through it line by line and that will also mark the start of this channel releasing videos that focus on completing projects and writing larger, complete programs together.

If you're feeling really adventurous, can you come up with code that does the same on windows machines. I'll give you a hint, the win32api package.
