The year is 2033 and the world as we know it has changed. Nuclear war has forced us into hiding. Living in the old metro tunnels under Russia, we try to stay safe, to survive, and maybe to prosper. But with mutants, bandits, and warring factions is there really anywhere "safe?" Artyom, our hero, will try to brave the unknown tunnels and irradiated surface to keep a promise to an old friend, and maybe uncover some secret truth along the way... Who or what are The Dark Ones?
