"The 'Dry The Rose' music video aims to capture the feeling of separation from a relationship; the moments after a relationship has failed but you find pieces of the other person still existing within you," - Midoca
"When Chaz [Midoca] sent me over the song, the chorus felt really grand yet the lyrics of the song are quite somber, so I wanted to find a way to visually match those aspects of the record. Using extremely dramatic zooms ended up doing that; they feel vast yet also give this feeling of separation and distance. I chose to use locations that were mostly void of color to allow red to be exaggerated when it was seen, since the artwork for the song/album was black and white with splashes of red," - Hunter Lyon.
