Once Within a Time is a film about hope, where hope is simply the ability to act. The film uses raining cultural myths such as the Fall and the Forbidden Fruit as vehicles for contemporary issues. It’s a bardic documentary where children, symbolising the child in every adult, attempt to resist their destiny: a destiny framed by decay and death. And since we are microcosms of the universe, it asks the question: does the technological age represent the dawn or sunset of human history? Will the evolution of AI and its rapid implementation into every aspect of modern society bring about a golden age? Or is Consumer society, increasingly dominated by AI, intrinsically flawed? A blind old beast destroying and devouring the living world to satisfy human greed? Artificial greed enhanced by AI-generated corporate advertising and social media?
Just as most of the universe consists of empty space, the human subconscious (or superconsciousness) forms the vast majority of awareness. As a metalanguage, art gives voice to that superconscious awareness through visualisation. Through the audacity of visualisation, artistic expression may be utilized in times of great social crisis giving voice to what may otherwise be beyond our ability to articulate.

Radiohead are an English rock band formed in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, in 1985. They comprise Thom Yorke; brothers Jonny Greenwood and Colin Greenwood; Ed O'Brien; and Philip Selway. They have worked with the producer Nigel Godrich and the cover artist Stanley Donwood since 1994. Radiohead's experimental approach is credited with advancing the sound of alternative rock.
Radiohead signed to EMI in 1991 and released their debut album, Pablo Honey, in 1993. Their debut single, "Creep", was a worldwide hit, and their popularity and critical standing rose with The Bends in 1995. Their third album, OK Computer (1997), is acclaimed as a landmark record and one of the best albums in popular music, with complex production and themes of modern alienation. Their fourth album, Kid A (2000), marked a dramatic change in style, incorporating influences from electronic music, jazz, classical music and krautrock. Though Kid A divided listeners, it was later named the best album of the decade by multiple outlets. It was followed by Amnesiac (2001), recorded in the same sessions. Hail to the Thief (2003), with lyrics addressing the war on terror, blended the band's rock and electronic sides, and was Radiohead's final album for EMI.
Radiohead self-released their seventh album, In Rainbows (2007), as a download for which customers could set their own price, to critical and chart success. Their eighth album, The King of Limbs (2011), an exploration of rhythm, was developed using extensive looping and sampling. A Moon Shaped Pool (2016) prominently featured Jonny Greenwood's orchestral arrangements. Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Selway and O'Brien have released solo albums. In 2021, Yorke and Jonny Greenwood debuted a new band, the Smile.
