UK based Puppeteers Marcus Clarke and Helena Smee are selected to head up the Puppeteering team of the Medialab Studio LA In Burbank 1997. A new character called Angel for a Pilot Sitcom Venus on the Hardrive arrives requiring development. Puppeteer Helena Smee performs the Body Animation wearing a Motion Capture Suit and Marcus Clarke inputs all the facial animation, lisping, eyes etc. using Data Gloves assigned to various CG inputs, Top Lip, Blinks, Left Right Eyes etc. with gradation and parameters specially set for the character. Supplied sample test Actor Voice Tracks. Angel being a very realistic, human character presented unique problems in creating the Animation Bible. All is Live.
