How I added particles! | Voxels Weekend update #17

I'm trying out a slightly different style for this video - I hope you guys like it!

On Monday, I got super excited to add particles into my engine, so after work I went straight home and whipped this up. I referenced a paper about point-cloud rendering, which (in a sense) renders quads to the screen, which each have a ray-box intersection algorithm applied to their pixels in the fragment shader.
