[Troubleshooting]: Topic: Split a master tab into multiple sub tabs with 1 click
This video responses to one of my subscribers' question: Why the macro code does not work for his file? I have also extended to a few other common errors for Macro/VBA so as to save your time in the future.
Error 1: not changing text "NOT EQUAL TO"
Error 2: Data Type is Long - should remove "Operator:=xlFilterValues"
Error 3: There are hidden columns in your Master data set - should need to show them to apply the filter, can hide them after split
Error 4: Does your Tab Name character count more than 31?
Error 5: Did you input any symbol under another language input other than English? （eg : ：)
Semi-error (sometimes it won't be an issue to run your macro): Check if all columns in your Master data set have heading/title.
