AFGP was founded in 2019 by Sophie Haines & Rory Nichols, who both have a combined 10 years of experience in the film and advertising industries.
Their experience has included working on multimillion-pound marketing campaigns in both business and film for household brands & names, as well as leading social media campaigns strategically and/or creatively.
As content creators and marketers, Sophie & Rory wanted to bring their wealth of knowledge to small businesses to help them develop powerful marketing strategies usually only available to large multinational businesses.
Sophie’s experience falls predominantly on the strategic side, while Rory has extensive experience developing and producing creative concepts.
Since 2019, AFGP has worked with small businesses and large businesses alike to create video content for their websites and social media.
Based in London, in the United Kingdom, AFGP works with businesses helping them devise, and produce their online video content to drive leads and sales to their business.
Rory Nichols started as a runner in the industry, and now works as a freelance director and editor and is one half of the London-based production company A Few Good Productions.
Rory Nichols is a freelance director and editor based in London. With a background in broadcast and advertising where he has worked on some of the UK’s top programs and with some household brands, he has an exceptional understanding of storytelling.
About film editing and post-production
Put simply, film editing is assembling and tweaking a compilation of film shots to fit a director’s vision. It’s a substantial creative and technical undertaking: the film editor will compile videos into the final film and make artistic choices to suit the narrative.
Editors will use various techniques to translate the script onto the screen as best as possible. These may include everything from cutting scenes to adding color or grain filters to the images.
