2 Squibs at Zombie test range (weapon malfunction)
While shooting the s&w m&p 9mm at new Zombie Industries cardboard clay holding and paper zombie targets I experienced 2 squib loads. The first exeted the barrel, the second did not. I was using prototype TDC ammo and had recently switched powder throwers, this contributed to the light load in the first one and I assume the second was the primer only.
Listen to the difference in sound from the shots that are normal and the squib loads. This is a great lesson, if your gun ever sounds different or acts different than normal (less recoil) stop, drop the mag, clear the chambered round, lock the slide back, and look the gun over including down the barrel. Had I fired the next round after the second squib load it would have destroyed the gun and possibly my hands!
