There is lot to learn about Cuba

When you think Cuba what comes to your mind, for me it is the wild parties during spring break, Cigars, Cuban sandwich, beautiful white sandy beaches, Rum, Guantanamo Bay and Fetal Castro, but this island nation is much more than all that.

Capital and the largest city is Havana.

Cuba is an archipelago of islands located in the northern Caribbean Sea at the confluence with the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. The United States (Key West, Florida) is about 150 km (93 miles) across the Straits of Florida. The Bahamas (Cay Lobos) is 21 km (13 mi) away. Mexico lies 210 km (130 miles) across the Yucatán Channel. Haiti is 77 km (48 mi) away, Jamaica are Cayman Islands both about (140 km/87 mi) away.

The country of Cuba include the main island of Cuba as well as surrounded by four smaller groups of islands. The Colorados Archipelago on the northwestern coast, the Sabana-Camagüey Archipelago on the north-central Atlantic coast, the Jardines de la Reina on the south-central coast and the Canarreos Archipelago on the southwestern coast.

Cuba has only tiny amount of inland lake or river. The largest natural water mirror is Laguna de Leche at 67.2 km2. However the largest lake is man made lake call Zaza Reservoir, at 113.5 km.
Río Cauto is the longest river of Cuba, as well as the longest river in the Caribbean and 371 km.
