Fatima Asif | Careers Hive 2023
Fatima Asif joined us in 2023 and shared her inspiring journey of finding the right career path. Initially, she tried accountancy but soon realised it wasn't for her. Thanks to her school careers advisor, Fatima was directed towards engineering, where she truly found her passion. In her story, Fatima offers valuable advice on staying true to yourself and emphasises the importance of creating a strong work portfolio.

Careers Hive offers S1–3 students a new way of looking at their futures by allowing participants to explore different career pathways and roles across multiple sectors. Visitors have the chance to get hands-on with a range of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) activities and meet early career STEM professionals, who are on hand to answer questions and share their career experiences.
As S1–3 reach the point in their education where they choose their subjects, Careers Hive works to showcase that STEM skills are transferrable and that further studying STEM subjects will help their future careers in a wide range of sectors.
