Audio Meter Changes in Version 3.5.0 Alpha Build vs 3.5.0 Beta Build
I've been testing an alpha build of Audacity 3.5.0 for a few weeks now and one of the new features I really like was the addition of audio meters in the individual tracks. In the alpha build track audio meters were present in the track control panel in addition to the master audio meters that have always been a part of the user interface. Because it was an alpha build, they didn't look too fancy yet, but they were there.
I noticed right away that in the just-released beta version, they are no longer there and I didn't see any mention of them in Audacity's website for the beta version. But maybe they'll come back in the production version. Most of the other changes in 3.5.0 are music-related but the ability to save a project in the cloud looks promising.
