The 2021 Lions made their first appearance against Japan in an eagerly anticipated encounter at BT Murrayfield. Warren Gatland and his men played some lovely stuff but lost Captain Alun Wyn Jones and possible starting 7 Justin Tipuric. But what did we learn? The Lions came out on top by 28-10 scoring 4 tries, which could easily have been 6. What were the key stats? Who stood out and should be looking at a test spot? What were the tactical lessons learned?
GDD is joined by Graeme Forbes of The DeadBallArea (check out his own YouTube channel too!) for this Lions Series Special. The stats are produced by a team of analysts called Bajad8ta who'll be producing content throughout the tour!
