How to replace raised garden beds. Yep, thats simple and easy.
Several years ago when my family and I first moved into our current home I immediately built a few raised garden beds.
3 years later it is finally time to replace those beds. Given the circumstances I'd say these things lasted a little longer than I
expected. Built from simple untreated 1x4s and screwed together that lasted through 6 growing seasons. Here in Florida
we have to growing seasons a year since our winters are so mild. So 3 years of service down here is like 6 elsewhere.
I'm going to replace them with something a little more sturdy. Since the 1x4s lasted 3 years, I fully expect the 2x8s
I'll be replacing them with to last twice as long.
Whether you choose this design or something else just remember to be creative, have fun and add some character to whatever
area you call your home.
