The automated order fulfillment center has enabled The GIANT Company to improve picking productivity by 3X compared to manual fulfillment operations. It has also increased the percentage of e-grocery customers that can be served with same-day home delivery. At the heart of the automated order fulfillment solution is an ambient AutoStore system with more than 15,000 storage bins, three picking ports and eight put-away ports.
