What's Happening Roland!
This is my weekly update for the last week of july! It's a hot week but the bass are biting as well as a bunch of salt water fish like strippers, bluefish, mackerel and giant Bull reds. Sunday I drove up to the Maryland - Virginia area, my old stomping grounds where I grew up an went through grade school,high school and college. Started off fishing the Potomac River for largemouth bass with guide Brian Barnes (302-745-4668). We crushed the 2-4.5 pound bass on Chatterbait's and filmed a really good TV show. The next day Wednesday, I got with Capt Chuck O'Bier(804-529-6450) and went out on the Chesapeake Bay on his 45'Sea Fox boat and caught dozens of bluefish , mackerel and a giant 35 pound Bull Red. The next morning Capt Chuck and I took my Z-21 Nitro Bass boat up the Potomac near the 301 bridge and filmed catching a bunch of 2-5 pound striped bass on jigs and plugs around the many marker bouys in the main river. A vert productive week!
