I just finished this song this morning. I got a feeling it will go down in my book as one of the closest songs to my heart. I really wanted to get this out on new years eve but it wouldn't have been possible if my brother Jeremy didn't offer to make the lyric video so huge shout out to him. About four years ago, I spent a couple of weeks in Africa. (There's a clip from my time there at 1:43.) It has forever changed me. When I was there, I heard someone say "Prosperity is not how much you have, but how little you need to be content. I've never forgotten that. This year has been so hard. And so uncomfortable. Circumstances will always influence us to a certain extent. But I don't believe they have to control our level of joy. Love you all so much. For real. I really hope you like "The Less We Need."
