You’ve seen those “day in a life” videos, right? There’s lots of food, plenty of puppy kisses, and more La Croix fizzy water than you can shake Visual Studio Code at. While entertaining, these videos are far from the reality of most software jobs.
In this video, I’m sharing some things you can actually expect your first year as a developer. Whether you’re a web dev, iOS or Android dev, good ol’ fashioned desktop software dev, game dev, or anything else that requires lots of keyboard mashing while solving problems, this video is for you.
I’m RealToughCandy, a full-time software developer and business owner. I like making videos about web development, dev jobs, tech education, and anything else related to modern software.
