S-Class Freighter Upgrades
There is a Google Sheets document with a list of portal coordinates to systems where the Freighter Upgrade you will find at the Engineering Station will be S-Class.

Notice that there are also encounters in space which are not boardable freighters. This is not about those encounters, but only about the boardable type. In the un-boardable type, you exit pulse engine flight and see a destoryed freighter and find 2 floating cargo containers that you can loot, triggering pirates to attack.
