The newer MySQL JDBC drivers have introduced a new driver class, “com.mysql.cj.jdbc.Driver”. If you use the 6.x or 8.x version you’ll want to use that. The old class is still around, but it has been deprecated and will be removed in the future. See: https://dev.mysql.com/doc/connector-j... for more details.
