If you have a broom, then you should definitely sprinkle some salt on it! Because there are some really great benefits to this procedure. All you need is a bowl in which the broom fits.
Pour warm water into it, add a cup of vinegar and then a good amount of salt. Then leave the broom in this bowl overnight. This will really get the broom clean again and the bristles will become really soft.
Then rinse it again and the broom will be as good as new. So be sure to give it a try with your broom too!
