The 'Zug der Liebe' or 'Train of Love' is a fantastic yearly event/demo, and we had a great time here. We followed all of the party trucks (the ones that played the loudest music) through the Berlin Streets!

🌍 Der Zug der Liebe ist eine politische Demonstration, die seit 2015 in Berlin stattfindet. An der Veranstaltung nahmen in der Vergangenheit zwischen mehreren tausend und mehreren zehntausend Menschen teil.
The Train of Love is a political demonstration that has been taking place in Berlin since 2015. In the past, between several thousand and several tens of thousands of people took part in the event.
At the annual demonstration, between 15 and 22 music trucks and social associations are represented as patrons. The demonstration will support social institutions and non-profit collectives that are involved in the social discussion. The association of organizers, musicians and media representatives is also a non-profit association: Zug der Liebe e.V.
The first procession of love was called the "New Love Parade" in a DPA announcement in 2015, from which the organizers distanced themselves. Originally, a demonstration with five floats and about 5,000 people was planned, which was primarily intended to serve as a counterpoint to emerging Pegida marches, but grew to 15 floats and officially 28,000 participants as a result of the strong interest. In 2018, according to police estimates, several thousand participants, according to organizers 50,000 people took part.
